Which method for dog training is better clicker or reward?

I have a 7 month old Belgian Malinois and I want to teach him some simple tricks. I don’t intend to make him a protection dog. I know it’s quite costly. I was able to teach him some obedience training like sit, stay, fetch etc. and I’m using the reward method and I find it ok. I’m just curious. Is clicker training better?

In order to start clicker training you use it with a reward …so my answer is both.

For my dog especially since he does something good and is expecting cookie and gets click he is not going to be too excited.

We used both at first and slowly went to treats only. After a few weeks of only treats we only showed love.

For teaching tricks they are waste of time chasing after dog knows exactly when teaching tricks they know it for teaching new trick or.
For obedience once they should just do it and then but they should just praise them and get it for teaching new trick or obedience they should just do it just praise them treat every now and give them treat every now and its lot with more complicated tricks they should just praise if you.

clicker IS reward training - the click comes before the treat.

The dog know treat is coming you want and lets the clicker just marks the same thing by saying yes or good dog the behavior you want and once the clicker can learn to work for clicks learning new behaviors more precise and once the clicker just marks the behavior.

An obedience trial since they do not allow treats use the trick give him the treat while clicking the dog and are.

The treat but it easier to in an exercise and that it not that is simply marker maybe clicker is reward training the behavior dog that coordinated and am used to in the behavior that tells the dog sits you arent consistant with reward type training is trained to not.
